Granted:  Funding to purchase site license for the PBL Project

Summary Description:  The PBL Project is an electronic resource offering students engaging, relevant learning opportunities. The set of electronic Common Core aligned lessons offers weekly “exercises” for students in all grades K-5 at Lincoln Street School. The lessons are designed to promote student growth in problem solving and higher level thinking. Each weekly scenario includes written information such as news articles, tables or other visuals for analysis, videos or other multimedia information for the students to process, and a question that the students must consider by using the given information. The final component of each lesson is the opportunity for students to present their opinion verbally and in writing, using the evidence that they have reviewed and analyzed.
